Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very well appointed, large, and very clean, but unfortunately, the noise level from other patrons outside the room made it hard to get a restful sleep. On a positive note, the staff congratulated us on our 53rd wedding anniversary, which was a nice touch.
The hotel doesn't cost much more than a chain hotel. The rooms are a bit old but comfortable, which was identical to the first room.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering a charming view of the Hudson River and early spring countryside. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired with filthy dirty carpet, walls, and mold in the shower that could easily be fixed with some attention from the maintenance staff. The location was lovely, secluded yet close to town, and the service varied from friendly and helpful to intrusive interruptions during my nap. The dining options were a bit sparse, lacking in protein, but the overall facilities were decent despite some areas needing improvement.
The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms that feel like sleeping on a cloud, despite some cleanliness issues that could easily be resolved. The service is exceptionally friendly and goes above and beyond, although interruptions during resting times could be more considerate. The location is secluded and beautiful, a short drive from town and with stunning views of the Hudson River. The dining experience is a bit modest, with room for improvement, but the outdoor pool and lovely facilities make up for it.
